Tashkent, the radiant heart of Uzbekistan, beckons with a harmonious blend of the old and the new. Boasting wide boulevards, sleek architecture, and vibrant markets like Chorsu, the city captivates with its lively atmosphere. Cultural landmarks, such as Hast Imam Square, reveal Tashkent's deep ties to the Silk Road.

Go for a leisurely stroll in the evening at Independence Square that transforms into a radiant hub, offering a captivating blend of monuments, fountains, creating an enchanting and diverse urban experience.

The evening unfolds with a delightful dinner providing a glimpse into Uzbekistan's tradition. After a night filled with cultural richness, return to your hotel for a peaceful night's sleep.

Begin your day with an early breakfast or with packed breakfast, and gear up for an exciting journey. Board the Tashkent–Samarkand Afrasiyab train, which is the fastest train in Uzbekistan, with a speed of up to 210km/h. The city of Samarkand is an UNESCO World Heritage site has been at the crossroads of world cultures for over two and a half millennia, and is one of the most important sites on the Silk Routes traversing Central Asia. 

After reaching Samarkand, we will proceed to Gur-e-Amir, a 15th-century mausoleum of the Asian conqueror Timur.  As you step into its grandeur, the mosaic of turquoise tiles and intricate geometric patterns adorning the exterior beckons you into a sanctuary of artistic brilliance. We will stop for lunch and proceed to hotel for check-in. Later in the afternoon, we will explore the groundbreaking Ulugbek Observatory which was built in the 15th century by the visionary astronomer-ruler Ulugh Beg.

Conclude your day with a delightful dinner at a local restaurant and head back to the hotel.

Post breakfast, embark on a captivating city tour, delving deeper into Samarkand's treasures. Start at the iconic Registan Square, the heart of Samarkand, surrounded by three magnificent madrasahs—Ulugbek, Sher-Dor, and Tilla-Kari. Marvel at the intricate mosaics, majestic minarets, and the golden splendor of the Tilla-Kari Mosque.

Next, wander through the timeless Shahi Zinda Necropolis which means ‘Tomb of the Living King’ and consists of rows of refine sparkling blue colors tombs. Shakhi Zinda consists of eleven mausoleums, which were built one after another in 14 - 15th centuries. The main mausoleum from which the necropolis starts seems to be the imaginary grave of Prophet Muhammad's cousin, Kusam ibn Abbas. 

Stop for lunch at a local restaurant and later continue to the grand Bibi-Khanum Mosque, a monumental structure commissioned by Timur that reflects the architectural ambition of its time.

For an authentic and immersive experience, we will proceed for shopping at Siyab Bazaar - a lively and bustling hub. From fragrant piles of Uzbekistan's renowned dried fruits including Bukhara almonds to handwoven textiles and intricate ceramics, the market is a kaleidoscope of Central Asian treasures.  You will discover handwoven textiles, intricate ceramics, and traditional Uzbek crafts. The market is a paradise for food enthusiasts, offering a diverse array of fresh produce, spices, and local delicacies. It's a perfect place to sample authentic Uzbek cuisine, from flavorful dried fruits to aromatic spices used in traditional dishes. You may also try Samarkand bread, a special sort of local flour product. You can see more than 17 kinds of bread at the Siab market.

Checkout from hotel and embark on a poetic journey aboard the Afrosiab bullet train to Bukhara, one of the oldest cities in Central Asia. The centre of Bukhara was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1993 and they say that it is the perfect example of a medieval city in Central Asia, with an urban fabric that has remained largely intact. 

Post lunch at a local restaurant, step back in time with a captivating walking tour through the ancient alleyways of Old Bukhara. Marvel at the Lyabi-Khauz Complex, which is complemented by 3 more religious buildings: the city’s largest Madrasah called Kukeldash, as well as the Khanaka and the Nadir Divan Begi Madrasah. Proceed to the hotel, check-in and rest.

Post breakfast, unveil the secrets of Bukhara's ancient soul on a walking tour. First we will visit the Maghoki-Attar Mosque one of the oldest surviving mosques in Central Asia and one of the few bukhara structures that the Mongols did not destroy. Today, the mosque is used as a carpet museum. 

Next visit the Ark Citadel - a royal town-within-a-town, it is Bukhara’s oldest structure, occupied from the 5th century right up until 1920, when it was bombed by the Red Army. For centuries it was the residence of the emirs of Bukhara. It’s about 80% ruins, now housing several interesting museums. Later, explore the Toqi Zargaron which is translated as "the dome of jewelers”. This place is a heaven for unique jewellery and other silverware made by local craftsmen.

Enjoy dinner at local restaurant and return to hotel.

Post breakfast, we shall proceed to Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa - the summer palace of the last emirs of Bukhara. The once progressive Bukhara prince from the Mangyt dynasty, Emir Said Alim Khan (1911-1920), lived in this palace. L

Later visit a pottery factory in Gijduvan city where you will participate in a masterclass in ceramics and get acquainted with the whole process of pottery. Watch skilled artisans at work, shaping clay into exquisite pieces that showcase the artistry of Gijduvan's famous ceramics. After the workshop, enjoy a warm and authentic lunch hosted by the ceramic masters themselves.

Post lunch, we shall board the Afrosiab train to Tashkent (approx 3.5 hours). Upon arrival, enjoy dinner and proceed to hotel for check-in.

Begin your final day in Uzbekistan with a delightful breakfast, checkout from hotel and visit Khast Imam Complex, Sheikh Tillya Mosque, known for its remarkable interior, which is adorned with intricate golden designs, hence its name "Tillya," meaning "gold."

Delve into the world of Uzbek craftsmanship at the Museum of Applied Arts which displays more than 7,000 examples of traditional folk art. Next, we will visit Tashkent’s most famous Chorsu Market - a unique complex of trade halls crowned with interrelated blue domes. On the counters, you'll find fresh fruits, amber-colored dried fruits, saffron, ginger, lepeshka (toasted bread) among other delicacies. You can also shop beautiful handmade souvenirs, jewelry, ceramics, carpets, pottery, housewares, and much more. Next to bazaar there are choykhonas, where you can taste amber yellow pilaf, fragrant shashlyk (grilled meat), hot shurpa (soup).

We will also take a ride on the local metro and explore some of the most stunning underground stations in Central Asia, where art and architecture blend in an impressive display.

In the evening post early dinner, proceed towards the airport to board your flight with hearts filled with sweet memories and a bag adorned with souvenirs.
